Zen Wireframe Core 2.1 Release

Zen Wireframe Core v2.1 is available. Please read README.txt, install.txt, zwire-extensions.txt and ChangeLog for installation updates, tips and current issues with TYPO3 4.2. The FAQ demo page has also been updated with new information.

For those who have already downloaded and are using Zen Wireframe Business, we just updated the zwireb2.1.t3d with 3 small fixes described here at our forum.

Demo pages are documented with quick reference links to Typoscript extension templates, HTML and CSS. Additional documentation, including screenshots of the TYPO3 4.2 Backend, has also been placed on pages to help users new to TYPO3 4.2.

Zen Wireframe Core is designed to work with the Wireframe Business Edition using the TYPO3 Pagetree Export / Import Tool. Please see the about demo page for details. If you have any ideas, tips or find bugs, please report them at our forum or send an email.

TIPS

Since TYPO3 4.2, some extensions require that you go back and save the extension configuration in the Extension Manager after installing. Failure to do this may result in extensions that do not perform properly. Extensions requiring an update after installation have been listed in zwire-extensions.txt. To be on the safe side, do this for "all" extensions. See bugs.typo3.org/view.php for details.

If you should forget to install one or more extensions after the .t3d import, please follow these steps for a quick recovery. Special thanks to Jens Gammelgaard of www.optimon.net for the tip.

1) Drop all TYPO3 database tables in PhpMyAdmin.
2) Login to www.your-domain.net/typo3/install/index.php
3) Go to 2: Database Analyser and Update required tables by clicking on COMPARE.
4) In 2: Database Analyser, Create "admin" user.
5) Install missing extensions and import the .t3d file!
