Are you trying to set a different height for IE7. I'm not sure of your desired effect. Can you post some screenshots for us to look at?

I have a problem with the #container in IE 7, I put inside an background image but in IE 7 the contimer it's not long (now i but a height: 1200px), but some page are long more.

background:url(../images/background.gif) repeat 0 0 ;
position:relative;
border-left:10px solid #fff;
top:0px;
/*height: 5000px;*/
height: 1200px;
width:990px;
margin:0 auto;
text-align:left;

}

Any suggestion?
