The TypoScript in Zen wireframe focuses basic menus, extension and template configuration so you can spend your time focusing on using the simple CSS layout for creating new custom designs.
If you look at each HTML template, you'll notice the TypoScript markers responsible for populating content. can be used for any purchased commercial template or your own design. You do not have to use the XHTML templates provided with Zen Wireframe but you will need to become familiar with some basic TypoScript included for menu and extension manipulation.
If you choose to use a different HTML template for Zen Wireframe, simply store the HTML template where the existing HTML template are stored. The rest of the folder contain extension specific templates and CSS code you can use and modify to match the look and feel of whatever template(s) you use.
Zen Wireframe can be used to convert existing web site designs into TYPO3. All I did here was take the TypoScript Markers and insert them into existing HTML templates.
