Hi,

I am trying to use CWT Community and have successfully installed in the website. However, whenever i click on any page, it says "Please Login!".

I am not able to figure out how to create a login page so that a person can log in using that form to go inside the community.

Anyone out there, who is a master of it, could you please help n let me know what am i missing and where am i making a mistake !

Thanks

Sammy

Yeah. He replied me... but does not seem to be too active. Perhaps better solution would be switching to mm_forum. Now gathering info about the advantages of that one.

Hi pesz,

I ran a search for cwt_community at http://support.typo3.org and it would appear there has not been a lot of active development or end user solutions or hints. Have you tried contacting the extension author Sebastian Faulhaber?

Subject: cwt community extend
Hei,

I would love to extend cwt community with a text field like 'about me' or sg.
What is the most efficient way to do it, to be able to present it on the profile of the users?

Thx,
pesz

hi greg,
thanks for your help - HOI community does the job - i liked the idea of integration of the community-features in chc-forum, but did not find the time to get deeper into it........

i will have to upgrade from typo3 3.70 anyway and will try the actual versions of CWT and CHC then - for the moment I'm fine with HOI Community

thx

Hi eberhard,

Sorry, nothing here however have you tried HOI Community? It appears to me fairly active in TER. I have not used it myself but it looks promising

Subject: chc forum + cwt community
i have installed chc-forum 1.4.4 with cwt community 0.8.3 (and the necessary other extensions) on a typo3 3.70 system.

it runs fine (well the mailer function doesn't work, but I don't need that one, so it's disabled), one other problem is, that the "buddy list"-view shows wrong online-status - i.e. people are marked to be online that I know aren't. the user list-view shows the correct online-status.

i tried to upgrade to chc-forum 1.4.5, which resulted in showing nothing but an empty site.......

any ideas?

thx
eberhard
