Subject: re: Create static page in Typo3
It's possible that these extensions may not be maintained anymore and are falling short of the TYPO3 4.0.x requirements. That's just a theory not a fact. It seems the author of both extensions has not updated them since 2005.

Considering that TYPO3 is planning on making some API changes between TYPO3 4.5 and 5.0 I recommend either locating the developer and paying him to fix the issue if it is related to the 4.x series or find another solution.

I believe there is a way for TYPO3 to publish static documents on it's own but it's been years since I tried that. If you do a search at the official TYPO3 support forums it appears this technique is becoming outdated.

Subject: Create static page in Typo3
Hi

I have a question about the TYPO3 (version 4.0.4), and create static page. I have pages and I want create the static pages using Typo3 tool. I have used the Typo3 extension:
- realPublish
- publish2static

I have configured the extension but they don’t work.
My configurations:
- Realpublish:
Script Language for Forms – 0
Form handling – 0
Typo3 Root - typo3/
Path to Wget - /usr/bin/wget
Domain:
something.com/public_html/test2/index.php
Server: Server name
Path: /
Username: user name to the ftp server
Password: user passwort to the ftp server
- publish2static:
Clear all cache: is checked
Verbose – 0 (i have checked 1 too)
Typo3 URL- http://something.com/public_html/test2/index.php
wget Proxy – off
Path to Wget - /usr/bin/wget
The user and password I haven written because I have only a few pages (only for testing)
Domain:
The same configurations as in the realpublish extension
When I started realPublish extension I have got the result:
Prepare the Content ...OK
Prepare the Templates .OK
Prepare the Pages ..OK
Try to delete old HTML-Documents OK
Try to delete old Graphics OK
Starting the Publishing ...FAILED !
Setup the original values ...OK
There where errors occured !

But when I have use the publish2static the result is:

Warning: main(/home/marcin/public_html/test2/tslib/class.tslib_fe.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/marcin/public_html/test2/typo3conf/ext/publish2static/mod1/publish.php on line 44
Warning: main(): Failed opening '/home/marcin/public_html/test2/tslib/class.tslib_fe.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/home/marcin/devel/ciao-php/phpinc:../ciao:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/marcin/public_html/test2/typo3conf/ext/publish2static/mod1/publish.php on line 44

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/marcin/public_html/test2/typo3conf/ext/publish2static/mod1/publish.php:44) in /home/marcin/public_html/test2/typo3/template.php on line 613

Publishingprocess and results
delete 'static' link OK
delete: ...OK

create SymLink 'static' OK

Starting the Publishing ...
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: tslib_fe in /home/marcin/public_html/test2/typo3conf/ext/publish2static/mod1/publish.php on line 107

I have read that exist another extension named: staticpublish but I can’t fount it.
If someone know what I can do, or where the problem is please write.

I have another question if exist any methods to export only one page form the web pages tree?
Export pages and set the individual names of the pages?

Thanks a lot
