No worries. It's kind of working at the moment, and CHC_forum is so good I'd be loathe to change for another.

Interestingly I elected to 'watch' this thread so that I'd get an email if anyone replied. Even though you posted, not email came through. This is another isue that's cropped up in the last 2 weeks on my forum installation. Previously it's been working fine, but now the cron script is throwing all sorts of 'undefined variable' and 'undefined index' errors.

I guess yours must be too

There are some posts on the bugtracker about chc_forum, but none that share my scenario exactly.

I've not used this extension. Zach appears to be very busy these days, We have a few options. Wait until the extension becomes actively developed, pay Zach to upgrade it, switch to a different forum.

I'm still here, and still reading all the posts. I've just been so swamped with other TYPO3 work lately that I haven't had time to work on the forum much. It is still on my radar, however, and I do hope to put aside a week sometime in the somewhat near future to implement a number of patches, fix some bugs, and add a feature or two.

Subject: forum_latest

Somebody on these boards kindly pointed me in the direction of Zach's forum_latest extension which allows you to show the latest X posts in your forum on a different page.

Recently the forum's been getting a bit more traffic, and the

plugin.tx_forumlatest_pi1.postsToDisplay = 5

setting doesn't seem to be working as expected.

Even though it's set at 5, only 2 posts are being shown. If I set to 6, I get the next oldest post (ie 3 in total)

Has anyone experienced this before?
