Mike,

I have had a little experience with Chamber of Commerce clients. Generally, the TYPO3 extensions of direct mail, calendar with event registration, sr_feuser_register, and some form of consultancies or company extension for a business directory is what's needed.

These days, most of those extensions work decently with each other though not tightly.

You could try contacting Dimitri at mitka@mitka.us. His company specializes in TYPO3 for Chamber of Commerce to include having the mailing list solutions that Chambers really like.

Good luck,

Michael

Hi Mike,

Are you looking for a combination of TYPO3 extensions to emulate a business directory that is manageable by registered users? Which extensions have you reviewed? What features are you looking for?

Best,
Greg

Subject: Membership Options for Chamber of Commerce
Greetings all!

I am an SEO and project manager in Los Angeles. We have a new potenital client, a chamber of commerce, that would like us to use a CMS for their new site.

I know typo3 has few extensions for this purpose, however, the descriptions are really thin.

So... does anyone have an experience with this type of client and the use of an extention to service their membership?

I will be sure to post anything that I learn on this thread!

Thanks in advance or your comments!!!

Mike
