This is the only thread I could find that might help.

I have used this typo-script in the english template to make it work.

config.sys_language_uid = 100
config.language = en
config.locale_all = english

BUT, does anyone knows how to make the language in german?

My solution will be two pages i the same tree - like this:

My question is now:

- how do I display the search-function in danish on the danish site, while displaying the search-function in english on the english site?

- right now they are both displayed in english...[/quote]

I don't plan on ever setting up a multi language site but have seen it discussed at length on the TYPO3 Newsgroups. Apparently there are some challanges depending what you want to do.

A quick search on Google should bring up plenty of useful information unless typo3.org has broken links. This may not be the answer you're looking for but try this. I do it 100+ times a day sometimes.

Hi,

I'm going to make a single-language typo3 website into at two-language website.

Does anyone have experience with multiple-language-websites with Typo3?

Any special things I should consider?

How do I for example make the different extensions I use show in one language on the first website and in an other language on the second website?

Really hope to hear from you guys...
