Many thanks for accepting my offer to visit, but all is well.

After making the post I kept on digging, and in checking the error logs I notice that files could not be accessed in the ‘Templates’ directory. Dropped a line to help desk who discovered the error made the change to ‘templates’ indicating that case was important.

So many thanks for such an excellent guide. My adventures have just begun and I do imagine you will be hearing from me again.

Regards,

KCharles

Hi Charles,

Assuming you installed all extensions listed in zwire-extensions.txt and followed tutorials 1) TYPO3 Pre Flight Checklist Tutorial, 2) Zen Wireframe Extension Installation, 3) Zen Wireframe
Template Installation at http://www.mediatech.net/typo3_tutorials.html
you should be good to go. Send me an email please and I'll have look around.

Greg

I purchased the Zen Core package, followed the instructions quite closely and still stumbled. So I need some help.

Installation Details:

Host: Hostgator.com
Web Server: Apache 1.3.39 [Unix]
PHP: 4.4.4
MySql: 4.1.22 Standard
Typo3: 4.1.1
Installation of Typo3 via Fantastico Deluex running off Cpanel

Searched the web and found out that 'newbies' make this mistake all the time. I was asked to verify that CCS Styled Content is selected under static. And yes it was in place.

I also did not see 'Container Elements' as indicated in the tutorial. Instead there was a message indicating that 'no valid BE templatefile set in container.'

Greg, I am quite prepared to have you or someone you appoint to have a look around the site and see what has gone wrong.

Regards,

KCharles
